A Public Charge
Perhaps nothing else in the history of our nation’s discourse on immigration has stood as long as a fundamental principle. The first recorded reference to the principle was by the English colony of Massachusetts in 1645; over the next half century all other English colonies in what would become the United States had passed similar measures. Foreigners who were likely to be unable to support themselves were barred from immigration.
A Public Charge who on arrival was able to support himself, but later was not, was subject to deportation. This occurred with a frequency that, in light of today’s discussions, was alarming. But, the nation and its leadership were dedicated to keeping the country secure and prosperous.
While no longer enforced, the provisions of the Public Charge legislation remain in force.
1952: Absolute Presidential Power
Additionally, the Immigration and Naturalization Act of 1952 gave the President absolute authority to bar any and all immigrants, and order deportation of those previously admitted.
It appears that President Biden requires no additional authority from Congress to close the southern border and order deportation of those who’ve already entered, but become a burden on the National Charge.

Yeah but since the purpose is to alter apportionment to increase Blue House seats & Electoral College votes by packing people into blue states & metros, moving rural & suburban red seats to metro blue (current number of illegals = 15 districts & electoral college votes), it’s not gonna change or stop Americas enemies in DC from keeping open the birders.
