People are less hungry for the truth and more invested in protecting the lie they were led to believe. Having their gullibility exposed is painful and threatens their tribal affiliation. But that has little to do with your core concern and I agree. The collusion between the security agencies, democrats and corporate news agencies constitutes treason. I do however have faith that there are enough caring Americans that will not let this go.

We can hope the Durham report reaches the masses, but that is unlikely. When the means justifies the ends becomes normal, we have lost our nation. When we can't find honorable people regardless of party, we have lost our way. The corruption at the top is disgusting but now accepted as normal?

I think this is just another item in a long list of things that should (key word: should) be astounding and controversial, but barely produce a blimp in the news/attention cycle.

What does it mean for our country when things like this become everyday news?

Also, I’m currently reading “The Revolt of the Public” by Martin Gurri. I think his analysis is extremely insightful about our current political situation. I think you’d like it.
