What a Day for News!
Colorado Ballot Access
Supreme Court of Colorado ruled that Donald Trump’s name should not be allowed on Colorado ballots. The affair was referred by suit to the Supreme Court, which held oral arguments today. Things did not go well for the home team.
Two Justices appointed by Democrats, Ketanji Brown Jackson and Elena Kagan, gave them hell. Chief Justice Roberts summed it up well. “If you throw out a Republican, then a Republican state throws out a Democrat, we’ll wind up with a few states deciding who will be President. I’m predicting 8-1 (Sotomayor holds out for the Dems) or, more likely, 9-0. A good day for the Constitution.
Declining Faculties
The Special Counsel investigating the Biden classified documents delivered his final report. He concluded that Biden could face charges but the likelihood of a conviction was quite low since he would be perceived by the jury as a pleasant elderly man with a poor memory; elsewhere in the document Independent Counsel Robert Hur described Biden as having “Declining faculties.”
I'm listening to the Putin interview. He insists that Tucker listen to the history of Russia starting in the 800s.
I was listening to the oral arguments live this morning and weren't they full of quelle surprises!
