In all seriousness, this is a consequence of treating people as if they are their group instead of as individuals. A while back, the DNC just said "Demographics is Destiny" and proceeded to ignore the people they were counting on. And we all know that some of the worst racism is reserved for minorities who DARE support the GOP. Just today I heard about a black woman on some 'Housewives' show or another who got fired for supporting Trump and saying it out loud.....
Dems will still have their most important constituency: The mass media.
Also academia and the big corporations.
The mass media has lots of ways to hide the truth and propagate untruths. Don't underestimate them. Control of the mass media is how the left accomplished the string of victories called The Long March Through the Institutions.
This is one of those necessary things that happen so people have a chance to get their heads screwed on right again.
Too many American Jews forget that ethnicity is indelible. One can choose not to believe in all the fairy stories that make up a religious identity; one can live a completely assimilated life. But others who have made strategic alliances with you for their own purposes often will never stop perceiving you, when it's time to shed pretensions, as Jews.
Americans of Italian heritage, no matter how many generations they're here, would never want to see the disappearance of Italy. Nor would Americans of Greek heritage want to see the extermination of Greece. Americans of Jewish ethnicity who believe so much in a false fantasy of justice that they want to see Israel as a modern nation-state disappear are discovering that Jew-hatred is not based on any sort of logic.
We--normal healthy Americans--need to make independents the strongest political force in this country or we're all gonna be hanged separately, in one way or another.
